Work Remotely by the Sea: A Workation Guide to Miramar

A woman works remotely at a seaside table, using a laptop and enjoying a cup of coffee.

Swapping your home desk for an apartment steps from the beach is easier than it sounds. If you’re looking for a place to work remotely by the sea, Miramar covers the essentials: a quiet base, a reliable connection and plenty to do once you close the laptop.

What a workation needs

Before booking, check three things: a good connection, a comfortable workspace and somewhere to unwind. Our rentals include Wi‑Fi and room to work, and the apartment has a sea-view terrace for breaks.

A routine that works

  • Morning: focused work, laptop and coffee on the terrace.
  • Midday: a long break, lunch near the beach or in Gandia (see where to eat).
  • Afternoon: back to work or, if your schedule is flexible, a swim and a walk along the promenade.
  • Sunset: the best time to switch off with a walk by the sea.

A friendly climate

The area has a mild climate that the regional tourist board describes as ideal for swimming all year. Out of summer you can work in peace, and the beach is still a great weekend plan.

When you want to get out

Gandia has coworking spaces for the days you prefer an office, about 5 minutes by car from Miramar. And if a meeting takes you to Valencia, the Cercanías train takes roughly an hour from Gandia.

Things to do after work

A Valencian esmorzar before you start (guide), a walk through the wetlands or an evening of paddle surf: see our beaches guide.

Before you come

If you work from outside the EU, check the visa and tax requirements that apply to you first.
